thursday.

Today is a day that I've been dreading- and if you read this post, then you know why.  Today around 3:00 I have to say goodbye to my kitty Batman.  My sweet little girl who has been by my side for the past six years.  I am honestly devastated and my heart is heavy.  But I will keep telling myself that she won't be in pain anymore and she's gone to heaven to snuggle with my Grandma.  They'll take really good care of each other.

While I'm off mending a broken heart, here are a few things for you to check out...

1.  My Newspaper Column.  I write once a week (Wednesday) for my local paper in my own fashion column and you can catch up on all my old posts.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.

2.  Look to the right and check out all the ways you can follow me!  Facebook, Twitter, Bloglovin', Pinterest, Tumblr, email and Instagram.  That's a whole lotta Sarah for you.

3.  Sponsor my blog!  Feature your ad for only $5 or $7.  And I'd love to have you.

4.  Shop My Closet!  I have plenty of my clothes, my fiance's clothes, and accessories for you to buy!  Give them a great new home!

5.  You know that great scarf I was wearing yesterday?  Well Kintage is nice enough to offer you 15% off through the end of the month!  Just use discount code ComingUnstitched at checkout!

I'll see you tomorrow with a few wonderful bloggers to meet.  In the meantime, send me some good vibes to hope that my heart mends quickly....

Oh, Sarah. I'm sorry for your loss. My parents had to put our family dog down just a week ago, so I know your pain. Sending good thoughts your way!

My thoughts are with you today. No matter what comforts you try to take, losing a fur child is hard. I dread the day I have to say goodbye to my sweet Lexi pooch. I can't imagine how broken your heart must feel but I wish a quick mending. Hold those memories of Batman close and she'll live on in your heart forever. :)

Oh Sarah, I'm so sorry. I know that day will come for us with our two cats, but I'm hoping it's a long way off. It's acutally very ironic...today is my cats' birthday (they're sisters).
Hugs on a day like this -

On a good note, I really liked your column in the NCN - I've always been afraid to do the sweater/leggings look. Maybe this year... :)

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my precious kitty two years ago, and I feel like I have yet to recover from the heartbreak. Frisky was a member of my family, and we had been together for 17 years. It's tough to be without her now. My thoughts are with you.

BIG hug Sarah, I am so sorry to hear that today was the day you had to put Batman to sleep. I know this has been the most dreaded day for quite some time and I hope you are recovering. And she'll see your grandma :)

So sorry for your loss lady. I have 2 kitties of my own (and I had 2 before that have since been put down). My cats are my babies, especially in my single days when it was just me and the girls. My heart breaks for you, but at least your grandma will have company up there :)
Thinking of you!

So sorry for your loss Sarah.. much love sent your way <3 <3 <3 I know how much an animal can mean to you... My first kitty that I got when I was 5 was awesome. One day I came home and my dad had put him down and didn't even tell me. It's really sad to lose a loved pet :(

Sarah, I'm soooo sorry. I've never had to put a pet down, thankfully, but I don't know how I would even begin to deal with it. If you need to talk or whatever, you've got my e-mail! Xo Lori
