I'm so excited to bring you one of my amazing sponsors today. Chelsea is one of those people that you just feel honored to know- even if it isn't knowing her in person. She's a young woman with melanoma and is spreading her word around to make others much more aware of the condition- and lucky for us, she's blogging all about it. Adventures With My Enemy Melanoma is one of those blogs that you just smile reading and want to know more and more and watch her conquer the world with her message. So read a bit about Chelsea below, and then be sure to hop on over to her blog and say hello.

Hi Coming Unstitched readers! I am honored to take over Sarah’s blog for the day while she prepares for the big day.
When I am not catching up on my favorite blogs, such as this one, I am spending my time and energy bringing attention to a cause that means a lot to me: Melanoma Awareness. I used to believe that everyone looked prettier with a tan. Then, after years of tanning, I was diagnosed with stage III malignant melanoma. I was only 23 years-old. When I first started blogging about my experience it was to update my friends and family, provide myself with a free type of therapy, and I secretly hoped that my words would help encourage someone else with melanoma. Never did I imagine the attention this little blog would receive.
Thanks to Headline News, Dr. Drew, and The Skin Cancer Foundation, I am sharing my story with folks around the world with hopes that someone will cancel their tanning membership and get that funky mole removed. Remember, Coming Unstitched readers, using tanning beds increase your chances of melanoma by 75%. That’s a pretty big risk to take for a tan that fades. Check your skin and come hop over to my blog. I have an important trip to The Plaza Hotel in New York City in October that I would love to share with you!

Thanks for this post, Sarah! Public health is a passion of mine, so I appreciate you hosting Chelsea's voice on your blog.
It's always good to encourage discussion! :)
What an amazing story! Heading over to check out her blog now! thanks for sharing Sarah!
So amazing! I never got caught up using tanning beds, but the education on tanning wasn't the same back then as it is now. Melanoma is something. I hate Cancer. I've had many friends and a couple of family members succumb to it. I love her message and what she's doing. Awesome post! Have a great week Sarah.
