{MIX & MATCH} YELLOW TOP

Since apparently Spring came a little early this year {totally not complaining}, I've been eyeing spring tops earlier than normal.  This top from H&M has caught my eye on more than one occasion but I've yet to purchase it.  And at only $10, I figure I must be a dummy.  It also slightly reminds me of one of my favorite looks by Blair of Atlantic-Pacific {here}.  So I wanted to play around with it and see how many different ways it can be worn.  {Don't forget- each item below is $50 or less.  Click on the photo to see Where to Buy.}

Item: Yellow Oversize Top, $9.95, H&M
Look 1: Very Casual.  Wearing this top with jean shorts is a no-brainer.  Just add gladiator sandals, a spring-like tote and wood accessories.  Toss a brown leather jacket over the top for the cooler spring nights.

Look 2: Dinner.  Going to dinner? Wear this top with black skinny jeans and bright coral shoes.  Add a lightweight scarf in a solid color to keep the focus on the shirt.  Pretty accessories complete the look.

Look 3: Party.  Wear this skirt over a bold, body-conscious skirt for a night out.  Sheer black tights and fun wedges add sophistication to the outfit.

Is this a top you'd wear for the spring?
What do you think of these looks?

I'll be going to the Black Keys concert tonight in Cleveland. Anyone else??

They were just in Indy - a bunch of my friends went and loved them! Have fun!

I love the colors of that top - I think I'd need to try it on, but you've shown it's more versatile than it looks! Why oh why do I not shop at H&M more? Horrible, BBF, just horrible of me.

Great top, it looks a lot like Blair's! I love it worn casually with jean shorts and that fun tote. Have fun at the concert, I'm jealous! They apparently played an incredible show here in DC last week.

How I wish spring was early for us! Some of my coworkers had 2 inches of snow this am. I am trying not to complain and just extend my favorite sweaters...but I want warmth, not gonna lie. Love the shorts and leather jacket look!
