{MIX & MATCH} OVERSIZE SWEATER

Now that it's gotten colder (at least in my part of the world), there's nothing better than an oversize sweater to keep you warm.  Yes, it's great for curling up in at home, but have you thought about how to use it in other parts of your life?  Check out these options below.

Outfit 1: Dressy.  If you're late for a meeting but can't bear to take off your comfy sweater, just try this: Put an interesting patterned button down shirt underneath if it's solid (it gets trickier if your sweater also has a pattern, but it CAN work- stay in the same color family).  Put on wide leg pants and great mary janes.  Add a fun clutch and interesting jewelry.


Outfit 2: Date Night.  Yes, you can wear an oversize sweater on a date.  To up the hotness level, wear a leather mini skirt and lace cami.  Bright colored booties and statement jewelry also really make an impact.


Outfit 3: Casual.  This is how I wear my oversize sweaters... pair them with skinny jeans (to balance out the fullness of the top) in a great color.  Add knee high riding boots, a camisole in a pretty color, and a cozy scarf.  Now you're totally chic but TOTALLY comfortable when you're out running around.
